We require up to 2 years experience, preferably in an accounting practice, utilising computerised accounting systems to:

Process sales and purchase ledgers, nominal ledger;

Prepare bank, sales ledger, purchase ledger reconciliations;

Prepare VAT returns; prepare draft accounts to trial balance stage.

Complete and file of Tax Returns.

Experience with Sage Accounts Production and Coretime advantageous.

The ideal candidate for the position will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Have complete proficiency with Microsoft Office and email as well as an ability to work on their own initiative, to tight deadlines and to budget. They should have the ability to follow practice systems and procedures and to so flexibility to take on other duties as required.
